Am I wasting my time?

Ok, that title sounds a bit doom and gloom...

I've been writing the Outland guides (The Outland), which followed on from my original guides. I started writing these as my first ones seemed rather popular. But lately as I have been back on the site, I am seeing people asking for assistance with leveling, only to be linked every guide other than mine. Given it takes me about a month or so for each zone (well, the first two have taken a month each), and people seem to be promoting and using other guides, I'm just wondering if I'm waisting my time...

Is anyone here using (or waiting for later zones to use) the guides? Am I 'too little, too late' in writing them? Am I waisting my time?

I will Crypt, I was trolling the guides section last week, but needed an Alliance leveling guide, so I could not use yours :(.
I'll hit 58 with my 2 "fresh" toons tomorrow, so outlands will be my next area to level.

I used your horde guide some time ago and it helped A LOT! I really appreciated it.

Maybe you should launch a poll to find out if there is enough interest in continuing the guide so you can make a choice by yourself and decide if your time well spend.

Please, please Crypt, keep writing your Outland guides

I've used your Horde lvling guide for the longest time on 6 characters. I just got my 2nd character into the Outland and your Hellfire guide made questing so much easier. I've used your Dailies guide on my level 70. Don't stop the wonderful work you've done now, I'm just so pleased to see you back after so long.

Crypt wrote an Alliance lvling guide too Snackereen, I'm a Hordie through and through, so didn't get to use that one.

Atherne, of course I used the Alliance guide, but it ended at the Wetlands, so that's when I was left out alone in the big bad open *cries*

Another bumper for Crypt: please continue your guides! They are really awesome.

I had to vote, you wast your time, but its not meant as i would never read em. No because, there is one point in this guide that is better then any other guide / UI out there.

Recommended Quests
Hellfire Peninsula has A LOT of quests. It also crosses over with Zangarmarsh towards the end, and some people might leave the zone early. Below are quests you want to make sure you don't miss as they provide some very nice Warlock rewards!

Burn It Up... For the Horde! for reward: Wanderer's Stitched Trousers
Disrupt Their Reinforcements for reward: Shadowbrim Travel Hat
Mission: The Abyssal Shelf for reward: Whispering Tunic
Administer the Salve for reward: Totemic Staff
Cruel's Intentions (Group) for reward: Vengeance of the Illidari

This is what your guide should be about.

you should make your guide toward what we are, Warlocks. Leave out the rest

Some quests you can't get unless you have done x amount of earlier quest lines, and that information can sometimes be a little harder to get info about.

You have done a great job, no question about that. But this forum is aimed for Locks, make the DAMM best guide for them..
