Headless Horseman solo?
I tried to take him down in a meta felguard build but only got him midway third phase before dying. Tomorrow I will try a sl/sl voidwalker build, hopefully with a lot more luck. So has anyone else tried to take him out solo? |

Headles checken man is easy this year thats for sure  I also killed him with np with my felguard tanking took around 10 mins but in my opinion I wouldnt go there alone since getting a full grp of my friends who have alts I can do the fight around 12 times each day and we all have higher chances for the mount or pet or hallowed helms for the achievemnt so warlock can solo him but its a waste

What I notice in that video is that the horseman never once threw the flaming pumpkin. Is there a range limitation to that ability? As the one time I tried to solo him, that's what ended up killing me. |

I shall be voidtanking him at 80 tonight, with a level 70 holy paladin, a level 70 warlock, and a couple of lower level guildies who will be along just for the achievement. Has anyone void or fel-tanked it with this year's model of the headless horseman yet? I'm pretty confident I can do it despite sub-raid gear, especially with the boost from a healing pally, but was curious. |

I did it for fun when it first came out at 1am. He is soloable, but it is difficult and don't be bummed if you die and loose a summon. Definitely use the voidwalker-you will want the extra wiggle room. I was using a siphon life/shadow mastery/felguard build. So a slow dps long lasting build. He hits about as hard as Thrym- so try to solo him if you arent sure if you can hold up(dont have to go through all 600k hp  , just practice healthfunnel-dotting till you can mange it). Use the +20% void walker glyph and the health funnel glyph to survive the adds. Make sure you get improve health funnel talent too because the void goes down fast if you stop.Make sure you have a pvp trinket for conflag and stay at 36-40yd range to further avoid the conflag. Toss up curruption/Curse of Agony- those are your main damage ones, then immolate if you have room to spare off and on. Phase 1&2 are easy, void in/dot/health funnel down, DPS on head when it pops off etc. Phase 3 is when it gets hard. Make sure the heals are on your pet & at 40 yards since the pumpkin adds spawn 4 at a time. Improve health funnel shines here. Corruption/Curse of Agony/howl of terror, all while healing the void. Rinse and repeat-don't let the pumpkins stack up, they will kill you easily if you mess up. As for my gear im in all deadly/furious gladiators ~24k hp, 2300 sp, doing about 2k heals a second on the void. Good luck, I found that he was easier than last year with the glyphs/ corruption/sl all in one dot thing. |

I'm sure it's doable on a grind or questing spec. But why? If you join up you will have alot more chances of winning whatever it drops, will be faster and easier. And it's dead easy to find a party. In my server all i see is LFG HH spam on all channels all the time. |
