I was on my shaman last night, and noticed that something was eating all my charges on water shield one after the other. All I had on was a trick or treat debuff, the "saving the town from the headless horseman" buff, and water shield. Water shield has about a 6 second internal cooldown (something like that) and every time I put it on, I could watch the charges disappear about every 6-10 seconds. It as like I was being hit with something, or I was getting crit heal casts, but no damage was showing up. (Resto shaman with the imp water shield talent) I was standing inside the Inn in Brill when this was happening. I didn't think to try eating though.

I tried to eat without my imp out (and most probably no FA on, not sure if it matters) last night in Sunwell. Guess what, It worked! I didn't stand up even once. Of course it is only a temporary solution and Blizz should really look into this silly bug but I'm happy I won't waste more food

THANK GOD Im glad ive seen this post cuz I thought it was a bug on my server its not only effecting locks, its effecting quite a few classes Paladins for sure. Its not just buffs that effects it even totems. I also tried leaving my fel guard away with the raid group and I went round the corner to eat my food with out fel armor and I was still interrupted. Last night I went into the raid with at least 37 buff food and I came out with 8. I was using between2 to 5 pieces everytime I needed to refresh my buff. |

Last week our rogues had a problem that their Stealth was broken every few seconds in Sunwell. It probably had to do something with a buff. Not sure if they figured out what it was or are just playing around the problem. As for the drinking / eating, it's getting quite annoying. All our locks have the problem. I use a small workaround which seems to work, though I'm not sure how: after a wipe I just run like heck back to our buff spot (instant Broom mount and the stackable speed buff pumpkins help loads with this). On the way I only cast Fel Armor and Life Tap to about 20% health. When I get to the spot I immediately start eating. After 10 seconds this gives me the Well Fed buff, which interrupts further eating. Only then do I summon a pet and usually only after that do buffs start. Other locks not as fast do lose loads of food though. One lock even went through 2 full stacks on 6 or 7 wipes and had to borrow from others. Sitting away from the raid, after buffs, and eating while the first mobs are pulled seems to work usually as well. Oh, one other thing that I have been using now since the patch are the new Spellstones. Considering it's a percentage upgrade for spells on an item (which is new I think?) maybe it procs a silent effect whenever any dps stat changes? It's as good a guess as any. |
