I keep hearing next Tuesday as the likely date. I haven't seen that backed up by a blue post, however. |

It would have to be 11/3/08 (next Tuesday) since they missed this Tuesday. They promised it before the release of Wrath of the Lich King. If they actually released it on 11/10/08 I would be pretty insulted (a day before Wrath of the Lich King release). |

I think it would be funny to release wrath, the day after a major patch, to come home, install, and download another patch again.  sarcasim, the fruit of life.

1) Is there a 3.0.3 PTR? 2) If so, has the PTR closed yet? (patches usually hit after the PTR closes late in the previous week?) |

i think theyve either kept the 3.0.2 ptr up or are simply using the beta servers to test it. either way, next week i get to set up a new computer and install wow, BC, and patch it to 3.0.2/3 a week before installing Wrath of the Lich King and repatching to 3.0.3 (blue post said that LK dvds are only patched to 3.0.2) hooray for that!

It makes sens that it patched to 3.0.2 but you won't have access to the BC content if you don't install it... How big was the patch download? |

You can install wow on your new drive then copy over the entire wow folder from the old drive, you then dont need to install BC or patches
