The "Lock List"
When we set out to work on the classes in Lich King, we had some specific goals for each one. Our mission was not to overhaul every class. We had specific things we want to accomplish. For locks, the list looked something like this:

Re: The "Lock List"
Wait, did a blue just admit to Warlock nerfing? It's always happened, but they never admit it

Re: The "Lock List"
I've learned to never get my hopes up when a blue posts something but, I might one more time. If they actually gives us some more survivability in pvp and comparable dps in raids I would love that more than anything.(and the soul shard thing is nice too :P )

Re: The "Lock List"
Balancing without "nerfing" you mean buffing everybody non-stop. You would have to buff the mobs, too, otherwise the game would outscale too quickly. |

Re: The "Lock List"
Excellent! and they accomplished most of the items in the first list. Now if the scaling works as planned we "should" be just fine at 80 and with some minor adjustment I think we will be back on the top of the meters. Have faith...and remember they are catering to 11 million people and you cant please everyone.

Re: The "Lock List"
I'm a little worried that they failed so miserably on: "Make sure Affliction had dps comparable with the difficulty in pulling off the rotation." And yet it's not on the list anymore. |
