What dailies?
Hey all, I have looked over the dailies guide on the site and really appreciate all the information found there. But the question I have is what dailies should I be doing? The only ones that I am currently doing everyday now are the Sons of Hodir quests for the shoulder enchants. A very important concern for me at the moment is to complete dailies for a maximum amount of gold. Does any one have any suggestions? |

Re: What dailies?
Hodir for sure: good items, and most of all they don't have a tabard, so dailies are the only way to get rep, while for the others you can just run heroics. |

Re: What dailies?
If you're not hitcapped already, there are some nice +hit pieces from Wyrmrest Accord. There are only three dailies (+ they have a tabard) so it's not terribly time-consuming to up your rep with them. As for which ones give the most cash... unsure. I found the JC dailies to be surprisingly good (if you're a JC); you can buy the mats for less than the quest reward, AND you get the JC awards which you can immediately turn into Dragon's Eyes (which go for around 340g on my server) |

Re: What dailies?
Sons of Hodir can be maximized pretty well. When I was grinding them I started with the Frosthold daily. Finishing that one gets you close to the large women camp where there usually are 2 dailies. One is for the NW part of the zone and I only picked that one up if I had plenty of time. The other was local so I did that before going to Sons of Hodir. After finishing Sons I flew back to Frosthold to turn that first one in. So that's 2 more dailies done with only like 5-10 minutes extra time. Other grindspots for dailies are mostly in Icecrown. For instance there is a daily on the airship to kill the guys in the middle, but also a ground assault which helps kill those guys. Then you're in the base and keep killing till you have enough for the daily. You're then close to the cave to free the slaves (another daily from the airship). Finishing that there is a PvP daily close by behind one of the buildings where you need to hop a robot to the top of a mountain to plant a flag. So that's 4 dailies and the kills all give decent cash and cloth. There can be some other runs made in Icecrown, but I'd advice to just get all the dailies there and just see where you need to kill stuff and what else is close (throwing the guys off the bridge, building a shade and poisoning the cauldrons is another set close to eachother if I recall correctly). The vehicle / bombing runs are usually easy, but very time consuming and you don't get to loot stuff so I tend to skip those. |

Re: What dailies?
Most people don't realize this but Icecrown is the new Quel'danas. But what I usually do is this. Skip all vehicle/bomb runs, do the awesome jumping robot daily, then go to the Ebon Knight place and get the 6 dailies there, then go to the Basin and do Oracles quests. But then again.. I'm more interested in the rep more than cash... |

Re: What dailies?
When I was grinding rep I used this route 1) Storm Peaks - Sons of Hodir (3, 5 or 6) 2) Zul'Drak - Argent Crusade (5) remember the patrol eats 5 dailies, so plan ahead. 3) Dragonblight - Wyrmrest Accord (1), Kalu'ak* (1) 4) Borean Tundra - Wyrmrest Accord (2), Kalu'ak (1) 5) Sholazar Basin - Frenzyheart/Oracles (3) *Those grinding rep with the Kalu'ak will have another daily in the Howling Fjord but it's a very huge detour. Personally I finish the wolvar daily from Mo'Aki then take the direct FP or sea turtle (it is FAST!) to Kamagua, finish the daily and then take an FP to Un'upe. Icecrown has 6 Ebon Blade dailies, I didn't unlock them until much later, but the total number of rep dailies equal 25. Just nice, but you might want to sacrifice some of those dailies for the daily dungeon, daily heroic and JC/Cooking dailies. Those dailies also give a little Kirin Tor rep by the way. |

Which dailies should I do first?
Hey I want to make the most of my time which is not as much as I would like to play. I need to make some money doing dailies. My question is which ones pay the most and take the least amount of time to do? You know like the isle was at 70! You would always go there do 12 or so instead of flying all over the world doing one here 2 there! If anyone has some good ideas please let me know! Thanks |

Re: Which dailies should I do first?
Rep quests like Defending the Temple (Wyrm) are a must if you want rep with your dailies. Other than that I find all the dailies in Icecrown are perfect and can usually be run without other player interference. |

Re: Which dailies should I do first?
For time efficiency, ignoring rep, Icecrown is win (although you can completely grind Ebon Blade rep while doing so). For rep, I'd say to do Hodir dailies in storm peaks. Always do your cooking daily. |

Re: Which dailies should I do first?
Largely most of the dailies pay around 10-15 gold. If you spend an hour doing dailies a night gold wont ever being a problem again. Also, why just do dailies when you could do dailies that give gold AND give faction? I would look at the major factions' quartermasters and see what loot they have available. Decide on something you wish to pursue (revered with Kirin Tor, Exalted with Wyrmrest, etc..), find the one that can be done fastest, throw on their tabard and start doing the dailies. Sons of Hodir doesn't have a tabard. For us clothies, they have a great shoulder enchant at exalted, as well as the Glacial Bag for us tailors, also some kind of mammoth mount. There are also 6 daily quests for them, I believe worth about 1500 rep with them. SO, if you do them every day, you can be done sometime in February ( ). You can also farm Wyrm Meat ( + 30 to crit), Crystallized Fire, & Chrystallized Earth from these dailies.Kirin Tor only has 1 daily (the cooking quest) and its only worth 150 rep. A lot of people throw on this tabard first because of this reason. Also, the Knife you get at Revered is one of the best single hands in the game prior to heroic 10 mans. At this point I'm not doing dailies because I'm closer to getting Loremaster than my next rep level with a faction. I find I get sick of questing and so I'm going to try to get this (for the cloak) before I consider dailies again. Regardless, pay attention to the tabard you have on. Look at the quartermasters' loot and set goals. If you do a heroic or two nightly using a tabard the rep will start to roll in. Some of the gear you acquire through rep I will still see on locks who are doing heroic naxx or doing 25 mans. Keep that in mind. Last edited by froshaka; January 14, 2009 at 06:35 PM.. |
