Two madeup spells i wish locks had!

Fel Protection - Immuted to all Stuns/and movement effects for 15secs attacker will be feard for 10 secs (unbrackable)

Fel Pack - 100% less damage taken when stunned.

haha well a warlock can wish ;)

IMO, I think my list doesn't fix the fundamental problems. I think of it as a big list of bandaids.
E.g.: Demonic Circle does not fit into warlock lore. We are not slippery mages.
Pets like Imp and Voidwalker sould have more/better active utility
Pets should be 'disposable' and easily 'replaceable'
More ways to get shards, and more ways to spend them
Dots should be compensated by short/no cast times
Fear shouldn't be overpowered and underpowered in various situations

I'm going to give more thought into revamping warlocks.
Give me a few days and maybe I'll come up with a good overhaul of the class.... maybe.

I like where you are going my .02 cents

Name- I got a Rogue humping my leg, shoo go away.

Instant cast- 10 sec cool down
When a stun effect is completed on Caster, MOB is sent fleeing for 10 seconds ( time cut in half on successful break attempt)

This way you can at least have some way to combat stun locks, and give us a fighting chance. Could be a trinket effect that might be better.

We should really work into this as a community and eventually post this on the blizzard forums when we have a more solid list (the community -- from this website specially -- making it should also make it a slightly stronger argument).

I will agree that a lot of changes you want are a good bit OP (don't feel like listing them right now), but some of them are actually pretty interesting. For example, I really liked the idea of shatter curse. However, I feel that at that state it would be a near pure pvp spell, and an OP one in the least. I'm not sure how we could change it, but it would be interesting.

Two of the ideas that I disagree with the most are the changes to the armors (they are either too far or don't go far enough), and the changes to the +hit talents. Taking the effect from suppression and moving it to cataclysm would only make it worse. Removing suppression for that cause wouldn't do yo much, and keeping both up would make locks too easy to gear for hit. Also, suppression is so early in the affliction tree that anyone can get it, but cataclysm is a tier down from that, which makes it harder for non-destro locks to get it. Why not move it to tier one, you may ask? Because that would create the exact same situation that was there with supression, except that affliction has less points to spare than the destro builds.

My logic on Suppression and hit talents are as follows:
- All raiding warlocks would put points into destro (for bane or ruin).
- PVP warlocks have a very low hit cap.

So the hit talents go to destro.

Now why can't I edit my original post anymore?

My to do list:
1. Slightly discourage hybrid specs.
2. If Soul Link is going baseline Demonology needs to be much more attractive.
3. Each pet one (or two) active utility ability. Felguard also needs to fill in that empty slot.
4. Slightly higher sustained damage for Destro
5. Make pets more replaceable.
6. Strategic cooldowns
7. More ways to get shards, and more ways to spend them
8. Differentiate from slippery one-dimensional mages. eg: Get rid of Demoport somehow
9. Abilities, talents and glyphs that make sense with each other.
10. Fix fear.

Here's a non-OP possible ability to consider;

Wakeup Call- Breaks all stuns in a 10 yd radius, 1 min CD.

It would be a new talent for the Felguard to go in that empty slot of his. The fact that he would have to be recalled to get within range and a CD would make it not too OP.
Just a thought.

My real plans for the Succubus;
Shaow Bolts, not a whip
Soothing Kiss is a 5yd AOE threat reduction (reason to cozy up)
and a Raid wide buff (insert jokes here)...I think Haste would be the best (and funniest) buff for her to provide.

It has been said before that the armours are broken. However fel armour doesn't want a nerf really. I'd just put it's affects on both armours, and remove the hp5, and have the heal increase... so far so broken... then make demon armour increase armour (more than it does now) and fel armour provide spell resistance (say, your level, or maybe differing amounts with each rank). Now it's actually a case of choosing the right armour. With a high mana cost you won't switch much, and it makes the armour a choice for both pve and pvp. That's a buff, I know, but it's not too extreme in pve, considering we're putting more burden on the raid for comparible dps to other classes, lightening it won't break us. It'd be a pvp buff, but I don't think that's a bad thing. And by itself it won't make us OP overnight, it'l just nudge us up a little in capabilities.

I think that's the thing I'd most like to see fixed from an actual experience perspective, I think some numbers may need tweaking and the like, but if I had to keep everything else in the background and purely a case of coefficient and number changes, and change on actual mechanic, it'd be this.

Ok here's a way to "fix" armors... one for raiding one for PvP...

Fel Armor - Increases spell power by 180 plus additional spell power equal to 30% of your Spirit. Also increases amount of health and mana generated through spells and effects by 20%

Demon Armor - When struck all further damage from that source is reduced by 60% for 8 sec. In addition, all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character only last 50% of their duration.

Though to be fair... this is broken too...

I didn't see any mention of Meta above, so the things I would do to fix this ability (well 2 things really) first I would take the Mele damage increase up to 30% from 20%, then I would change the Imolation Aura Duration to "for the remaining duration of your Metamorphasis" (it always seems to run out too soon).
