Oh man this could mean some exciting class changes! Pet talent trees? new pet abilities? new buffs from pets? and what about the shard system? the cap suggests they could become a resource that we use and replenish constantly... |

wow, a demon talent tree.. that made my tummy rumble, i like it! however, i have always thought of warlocks as mages gone bad... ya know like: "hey i'm a mage and i'm into ice and fire and shields and stuff." then suddenly one get's all PO'd at something and decides to sell his soul to the devil and be all like: "screw ice and fire, i'm thinking Dark shadow magic and demons and stuff"  so being like a mage is not all that bad, but it would be kinda cool to see a completely different direction taken with a warlock. a direction that does not draw from any other class (mage) like the curses are more warlock-like than mage-like and obviously the demon. so it would be nice to see more done with the demon. i mean that is kinda what identifies the warlock: "hey what's a warlock?" "look for the dude with a blueberry or a bat-winged-hoofed-chick with him" so i'll accept a few changes, sounds exciting!

Indeed this could be interesting, though I love the class the way it is now so if they somehow make it WORSE I will be extremely pissed, lol. Though I think there are several ways to make Warlocks unique from Mages and improve the fun-factor at the same time. --------------- Off topic: Ikabod, you are level 81 now?? (0/17/55)

yea, well. they felt sorry for me! losing my felgaurd to the destro build really hurt my self esteem; ya see i am self-conscious of my height (gnome) and the felguard compensated for that! and now that i have the felhunter and he is the same height as me, they decided to give me an extra talent point in destro to make up for it  lol... My Bad! guess that should be 0/17/54  ---------------------- UPDATE: <-------- fixed! Thanks Poofs!!! no wonder i have been OP'd Lately!

This is of interest to me. Hoping for some pet focus here. I would like to see a spec that has the pet doing most of the damage. While this would be a huge change could be fun to play. Some new toys to play with , a new pet ? While im happy to have doom and fel at the top of the tree . Id like to see the other three pets = maybe talent points of them at the bottom of the demonolgy tree a chose your own pet style ? |

Not that this is something I like to admit, but I took a snotty attitude about this and got myself banned from the WoW Forums. I will admit it was a knee jerk reaction, however, I find that they say all these things but then never follow up. For Example: Soul Shards???? I guess if we become more pet dependent I won't be staying with the class, I like the situational pets, ie. Running through the gauntlet in Naxx I toss up my lock bubble. In BC if we were short CC I would charm with the lady. Felpuppy for pvp. Imp sometimes you just need that little extra health. Not to derail the thread but do you think the following was rude enough for a forum ban: Here is the problem in my eyes: It is clear to anyone who has played the warlock class for a large amount of time that the developers are intentionally leaving us down as fodder for the melee classes. Its too bad you ask and than don't listen **** Do I agree with my own statement, no. Do I sometimes feel like that, yes. |
