Wich site is most accurate? wowprogress.com or guildprogress.com? or maybe theres another site thats better? |

They are 'different' WoW Guild Rankings :: WoWProgress - World of Warcraft Rankings and History is probably the most hard core ranking because they really only count SIGNIFICANT milestones in their rankings. guildprogress.com is better if you want to see overall progress and it has a more user friendly interface IMO and allows you to see at a glance to compare what different guilds have done, but I consider their actual ranking system to not be as hard core because it seems to me that easy achievements are weighted too similarly to hard achievements. |

how do these determine if a guild cleared the content? Is it based off Raid leader? We've run OS a few times with only 4 members in the raid & the rest pugs. We've had 5 people in vault but none of us were raid leader & it only shows OS. This is guildprogess.com |

They scan armory of your guild 80's and if enough of them have the achievement for the boss kill to have formed a large majority of your raid then you get the achievement. I think you need something around at least 7 guildies for 10man achievs and 20 guildies for 25 man achieves. Each site has a FAQ or documentation that says what their criteria is. But it definitely doesn't have to be 100% guildies. You will get credit if you reach that threshold over time though too. So if you did OS25 with 10 guildies one week, and another 15 guildies the next week, the armory having 25 guildies with the achiev on the 2nd week will have these sites count that as a guild achievement Also, both sites have the ability to "force" an update. So if you just got the achiev, you can tell these sites to re-crawl armory to check for new achieves. Only do this after your raiders have logged out, because armory usually doesnt update until they log out. Frankly it's pretty awesome that the sites scan armory for achievs now. They USED to determine this by crawling armory in BC days looking to see what loot was equiped. Certain loot only drops off certain bosses, so they extrapolated whether a guild killed a boss by how many people were wearing the loot of that boss. Kinda a weird way of doing it IMO. |

GuildOx - WoW Guild Progress and Achievement Rankings is also a pretty good alternative to wowprogress. |
