Worgen and Goblin Racials for Warlocks
I did a recent blog post regarding racials for Worgen and Goblins and how they could benefit new Warlocks. Basically, the Worgen have a 1% increase to damage and Goblins have a 1% increase in haste. Both classes have a racial for escaping combat (the Goblin one being a lot cooler, in my opinion). Goblins have a 15 point bonus to Alchemy, which is a great Warlock profession, while Worgen have it in Skinning, which is a lowsy Warlock profession. The blog post is here. Do any of you have other thoughts on how the racials might affect those who role Warlocks?

Depending on what the AH does to your leather prices, Skinning isn't that bad a profession as you might think. Warlocks AoE grind mobs quite easily, so it makes collecting leather a breeze. I know that I'll be rerolling a Worgen Warlock for sure, however. |

WTB gnome paladins... if they can be warriors and dk's and now priests, i don't see a reason for not being paladins. they certainly have the intelect to do it. on the other hand, my gnome warlock isn't getting a race change. Worgen's racial might sound interesing, but if they keep the gnome racial as itis now, and intelect will count towards your spellpower, might be good too. Plus worgens are too furry

I think i heard that they are going to revamp all the existing racials to bring them in line with the worgen and goblin ones. The goblin racial that gets the best gold for items looks very interesting. For me it will be a worgen druid so skinning will be pretty cool. I've tried to roll a N Elf druid before but really don't like N Elfs or their starting area so looking forward to what promises to be an awesome starting area and storyline. I really, really hope that they're revamping the old racials. I read that too, as phetus. As it is now Worgen and Goblins are way too OP. I mean, 1% damage/haste? Lol! :P I wouldnt think of converting my lock to either Goblin nor Worgen. There's gonna be so many of them already so it's gonna be silly. Though I think I will try a Worgen Rogue and get a Goblin bankalt or so, just to try them out. But changing my race on my main? No way. ^^ |
