IMO locks are the only caster class that do not have a bubble excluding healer classes.To cast bubble we need VW which is a real drag.It should be made a normal spell irrespective of which pet we are using.Basically the VW sucks at dps so, at 80 rarely locks use it.And infernal time duration should be increased to more that 1min.1min is a waste .Atleast this is my opinion. |

After a while thinking over what I'd want.. suddenly...The following options make sense: >The infernal becomes a guardian. It attacks whatever you have most threat on. Unless your pet dies near the end of the fight, it's a waste. I used it to get my "of the nightfall" but that's the only use. Ever. > Change destructive reach and improved drain soul. Make it spell specific like mages. Destructive reach affects the following: Conflag, immolate, incinerate, soulfire, chaos bolt, rain of fire, hellfire. Imp DS affects: Unstable affliction, all curses, shadowbolt, haunt, corruption, seed of corruption, drain soul, drain life, drain mana. Grim reach would affect shadowbolt now as it would not fall under reach. Shadowbolt would also be moved to fel conc. Note I left out searing pain it would stay on intensity while shadowbolt shouldn't. Also optionally I'd have them negate healing threat for their healing talents (leech life, haunt, siphon life all give an untalented lock a threat to damage ratio over >1 if you discount pets and in some cases, still >1 with pets included as a threat reduction). This would make them better talents without overlap. > The pet changes mentioned are in my opinion ones blizz should consider. They're trying to make low level(ing) less painful rogues get dual weilding to start etc etc, but really, if they want to improve the experience, they should buff the voidwalker's threat. Perhaps increase the scaling of anguish. Or increase his melee dps, or increase his multiplier, either way, give him more abilities that allow him to accumulate threat, and scale to his master. As it is, you have to wait 12 seconds to touch a mob he's tanking, many classes have nearly killed it by then. Give him better threat and better threat scaling so that he can hold aggro from his master going full pelt at a mob, given a good lead. I know this will make him a good endgame tank but he's crittable and squishy. Perhaps have the taunt ability become ineffective on mobs over the caster's level +2 (so he can't tank raid bosses) or at +1 so he can't MT 5 mans either. |
