I had a guild mate ask me to help him summon one of his friends to a floating rock around the area 52. Once I did this I noticed that it was a level 30 pally with no cloths. I was informed that my guildie had removed all his items and put them in the bank and removed his hearth stone. ![]() ![]() The next day I log in and I get a request from a guildie if I can help summon him. I look to see who it is and damn if its not the Pally. I start laughing. I asked him where are you? He is hesitant to answer. So I said, let me guess you logged on and found you had no cloths on and you are on a rock in the middle of nowhere. Of course by now the gig is up and he knows I had something to do with this. So I confessed. I got a group of the guildies together and we decided to go ahead and summon him. right in the middle of ICECROWN. I have never seen a toon agro so many mobs at once. ![]() I finally got him to Org where he could get his stuff but I have never laughed so hard as that day. Lesson learned : Never ever give your friends access to your wow account

Re: Cruelest thing you have done on your Lock?
There is always the summon to floating rocks, and to high level zones and atop of mountains, but the best way to summon an unsuspecting victim that won't remove his Hearthstone is to get to a deep enough area and summon him underwater, if you have the people and can risk swimming out far enough, you can swim out to a fatigue area summon the stone if you are deep enough and you can make it work you can summon the person and he will drown/fatigue before he reaches the surface, this doesn't work on Warlocks shamans druids and possibly other classes, if you find a way to make it work go for it |

Re: Cruelest thing you have done on your Lock?
The meanest thing I Did back in pre BC days, was I enslaved a Doomguard (the Big leet one) from blasted lands. then had another lock summon me to storm wind, ran out the gate into the starting area and let him loose. i did this many times b4 they made it so you cant poartal with enslaved demons. It was so awsome that my guild master renamed the guild to project mayhem, and we did stupid stuff like that all the time. Ive have mutred since then...but now that i think about it i might have to go to the dark portal and enslave some demons and let um loose in honor hold.... |

Standing next to a summoning stone, cast summon doomguard (in the old days when it killed someone). Kept saying the stone didn't seem to be working right, convinced the whole group to click on the portal, boom, down goes the rogue, waa waa waa. |

Re: Cruelest thing you have done on your Lock?
In nexus when a guildy goes afk and sets it to follow you right after the rift boss, set up you summoning circle on the edge and jump of an portal back in mid air, while you watch your friend fall to his death.....lol |

Re: Cruelest thing you have done on your Lock?
Back pre-BC. We were a 3 party group and i had 40 shards. We went to MC said we would pug it we summoned everyone onto a stone surrounded by lave... of course over the edge so they would fall in and die. We summoned about 15 of the people till everyone screamed in raid chat to not accept summons from us. In Karazhan before the nerf to not summon people over edge, I would summon people over the bridge at the second door. Fun watching people fall to their doom. The classic summon to random places far away. |

I always enjoyed throwing down a ritual of doom in AV at the begining. |

Re: Cruelest thing you have done on your Lock?
Back when Diminishing Returns weren't in the game I once kept a troll rogue chain feared for about 5 minutes at which time he disconnected. It was out of revenge though because he was tricking lower players into pvp and ganked them. Also normally I give good advice to people who ask, but one lock was such an idiot I eventually gave up and encouraged all his asinine ideas. Telling him that spirit was really useful, agility helped armor which was good for survival, +healing helped keep his pet alive etc. The poor guy got ridiculed at each guild apply he did later on. For the rest, summoning over deep drops or deep into water, check, trick people into summoning doomguards, check, releasing own infernals and doomguards in IF bank, check, abuse autofollowing people in all sorts of nasty ways, check. It's a lock thing I guess

Re: Cruelest thing you have done on your Lock?
I'm embarassed to say I haven't done anything EVIL in WOW.... too limiting... EVERQUEST on the other hand with my Necromancer.... Once after LDON in Everest Mtns(? it's been a while) we had with us a HORRID I want to say warrior... he just sucked and we failed the mission... well I was chatting in tells with another party member (yes, this was a PUG), and we decided to test just how stupid this guy was... so I go purchase an Emerald, and so I say to him "Hey you want a high end buff?" (I'm playing a Necromancer, outside of Dead Men Floating, we don't HAVE any buffs for anyone else) He says "Sure!" So I tell him, "There's going to be a pop-up box. Just hit YES" And he did. I was laughing for DAYS after that. If I reactivated my EQ Account, I'm pretty sure the Essence Emerald would still be there. However, none of this compares to Doby's "I ruined a Druid" post on the EQNecro Forums. Sadly he made that up. But it was still funny... *sigh* there are days I miss EQ. Then I remember the pain that was leveling... among other things. |
