...Come on then, who's done it? I managed 10 man earlier in a pug, not hard really, just a case of OT getting whelps quick enough in phase 2, after the whelps are AOE'd then Heroism helps a lot  She's a pussycat really

We went in with a bunch of people that had done the fight way back when. Initially everyone went in thinking it was a one-shot holiday boss or just a nostalgic tank & spank. The fight has changed enough that we wiped twice, but now that we've got it down, it's pretty much free loot. |

We one shot 10 man with a in-guild pug. When we tried doign 25 man, however, we combined with the other in-guild pug that wasn't doing so well, and that end of the group was screwing up a little (along with some others). We just wiped a couple of times in 25 man and had to call it due to people needing to go to sleep. Oh, and when we did 10 man two priest helms dropped and we had no priests... :( |

I'm confused, What exactly is an in-guild pug? I've always had the understanding that Pug referred to players NOT in your guild. Otherwise, it would be called a guild run. I went with a few guildies but mostly pugs and with the exception of the guildies nobody remembered to get out of the way of the Deep Breaths. we wiped 4 times then people left. I'll be going back soon enough, hopefully with a full guild run, and I'm sure we'll toast her.

No, she's not fire immune. Just like OS10/25 is all about avoiding the flame wall, Onyxia is all about avoiding the deep breaths. Do that and it's easy-mode. However, I do think that the 25man version is significantly more difficult but only because it takes more coordination for add pickup by the tanks and there are that many more people to screwup and not pay attention to the deep breaths. You really have to keep your camera low to the ground so that you can see Onyxia above you and which way she is pointing. I completed this on 10man (got the warlock helm) but was with a fail group on 25 because the healers got tunnel vision and kept getting roasted by the deep breath. |

Yep did it with my guild earlier was a bit tricky to get the tacs down, and one stupid warlock did manage to jump into the eggs whilst we fussed around waiting to start (oops  ) but we got her down on the third attempt, I think it was, and to see my new warlock helm drop was awesome, the first bit of loot I've liked since wrath came out.. I thought overall it was a nice fight, relatively easy (when you know the tactics) and lasts a nice bit of time, but it did annoy me having her constantly moving out of range of all my dots |

Did 25 Onyxia with guild tonight. First pull, we had her at 5% and then server did a reset on us...lol. So then we went back and 1 shot her. I picked up the Nemesis Skullcap. |
