Re: Thoughts on a new Demonology Spell idea.
Just remember, they gave us Meta cause we asked for it. Granted, they made a design decision early on (non-perma form) that has basically stopped them from making Meta a viable build. So, be very careful what you ask for, you maybe disappointed by what they give us. |

Re: Thoughts on a new Demonology Spell idea.
Meta is now not only viable (on live) but is the most powerful AoE build in WoW and provides what is arguably the most indispensable buff there is. CoE/EP/E&M is probably just slightly more important. In any case, I do agree that Meta could've been worked out a little bit differently, but the Demonic Pact Talent, the changes to Molten Core, and the upcoming change to our melee abilities (we wont' glance as much, so, theoretically, neither should our Felguard) are pretty sizable buffs to demonology. It would be cool if they dropped the taunt for a Piercing Howl-type ability. But I'll definitely take what they are pushing. |

Re: Thoughts on a new Demonology Spell idea.
it's a gimmicky trinket pop.... make it a perma-form, slightly toned down and reshape the other Demo talents around Meta and the Felguard, allowing Locks to go Affliction or Destruction as their secondary trees (granted low-end Affliction isn't nearly as interesting as it used to be). |
