Wow Meters Online shows via a graph your threat in comparison to your damage. I like it as you can see how much you ride your damage compared to other classes.

Thanks! I'll have to check that out again sometime.

Re: Warlocks: 2nd class dps

think the thread has gone bit OT? =p

anyway I standby what I said, play around with simcraft / rawr... I don't think your trinket choice is the right one... while it won't magically send your dps leaping by 5000 points it should help improve your dps never the less if you change them ( I don't have rawr or simcraft working on windows 7 atm or i'll do it for you )

secondly your hit could be lower assuming you have boomkin / spriest in raid...

arcane mages is leading atm they have a good interaction with haste and the general lack of need for hit since they get 6% from talents means they can stack more other stats... your mages doesn't seem overly geared compared to you.... I will check out the chickens later when i finish my studies

Re: Warlocks: 2nd class dps

Last night i did a little playing around with my rotation and such, being sure to pop LT, avoiding corruption unless i happened to be on the move etc, trying not to move unless nessessary, all the good stuff. Unless I was getting screwed as a multiple snobold support platform, I was sitting with the mages or beating them in sustained damage and dps (which is a nice change) I was topping out at around 6400 dps, but thats much better than the 4900-5000 i was "stuck" at. I think it all comes down to rotation and paying attention.

Now I havn't played with the trinkets i have available yet, but i am wondering what kinda effect say Illustration of the DS and broodmother might have on overall dps. As usual the trinket dropped off of 25man anub, and of course it went to a shadowpriest because he was raid leader and because he was "so far behind the mages and locks he needs to catch up"

Anyway, instead of me reading thru 200 pages of trinket discussion on EJ, can someone post what trinks are say top 5-7? I see different info in different places. I have access to a lot of the trinkets, minus the hard mode ulduar and the 245 off anub. (I never seem to get rid of them after i upgrade ilvl)

thoughts appreciated.

Now the hard part...

I have

Illustration of the dragon Soul
Dying curse
Abyssal Rune
Eye of the broodmother

According to the list the best is IDS and DC, but i really dont need the hit off DC. Suggest i go with the top 2 and over hit (at the moment) or drop to IDS and AR (for the haste bonus which would put me in the neibourhood of 700)

I'm no theorycrafter. I just blow stuff up Help appreciated.

Re: Warlocks: 2nd class dps

if you need the hit, dying curse and IoDS. If you don't, go with IoDS and AR.

Yeah if you don't need the hit go with IotDS and Abyssal Rune.

Illustration of the dragon Soul and Abyssal Rune and before each fight, stack your IotsD with using life tap. 200SP at the start of the fight will help alot.

And like the rest have said, immo > conf > CB > incin.

Personally I start the fight with CoD and then just pewpew through the rotation, Corr when moving. L2 love your haste
