Emblems for alt's +lvl / +experience
World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Emblems for alt's +lvl / +experience (original post of mine) Given that Blizz is obviously trying to make leveling alts easier I suggest (and I'm not sure if it's been suggested before or not) that Blizz create a new item. It would be a +1 level token of some sort or +X experience and have it BoA so that instead of grinding for a month or two to get an alt up you could still run your raids and use any extra emblems of Triumph (or Frost come 3.3) you may have to assist in leveling an alt for end game purposes. Lets say for the sake of argument: 10 emblems of Triumph (Frost when 3.3 goes live) Badge of Experience Grants the user an additional 50,000 experience points *Same faction/realm only This would help expedite the lower levels but not extremely useful from 70+. Lets be fair here, there are few people around westfall looking to run deadmines or other lowbie runs and this would alleviate some of that (though admittedly making people lfg for lowbie runs even mroe scarce. Blizz did say that they were toying with making DM a new 80 run similar to what they did with Onyxia). Lets face it, we all know the story line if we have an 80 or two already and this would remove a huge inhibitor to the leveling of alts. |

interesting idea. But it works opposite to what blizzard is trying to do with the cross realm bg's, namely makeing it easier to fill a group for the low level instances. Also, with a few heirlooms, you can blast through 1-20, which is where the Badge would be most useful. In 3.3 you will have the possibility to chain run dungeons from level 10 on, which is another nice alternative to classic levelling, in addition to the possibility to level in BG's. And there should be some blocks to prevent people from rerolling after every patch. Gear is not so much a block anymore... |
