I understand from a tanks perspective some dungeons are a pain (HoR) and some are just long and annoying (HoS), however they chose to click random not specific so a little consideration would be nice to the people who have waited 15-20 minutes for a queue. Also, the dps that queues for heroics with BoAs still on, seriously, people run some regular dungeons and atleast be of some use in a heroic. Im starting to rant i know but as well the DK or rogue thats only pulling 5-600 dps(i did not forget a zero) either read about your class or stop being a douche. So in conclusion, They have been fun at times and utterly disapointing at others.
My Prot Warrior loves Halls of Reflection. As well, you can skip half of HoS as you get the same reward(4 emblems) all you have to do is clear to the hallway where you pick the direction you want, and only go down the corridor to Brann's Event. Then just make your way back to the door and kill final boss.

The World of Warcraft Armory - Curtass @ Lightbringer - Profile

This is a Warlock from my server I had the unfortunate opportunity to run with. I approached him afterwards asking why he was 11% over hit cap and I got a "Did I say you could inspect me?!?!" /ignore. Yes, he is at 650 Hit Rating with 3/3 Suppression.

I think it's hilarious when people go for hit seen it too many times they always deny it like HEYY DON'T TELL ME HOW TO PLAY MY CLASS. I ran into a DK with over 800 hit.

I agree with you so totally. It takes time to summon your minion, and then they have the gaul to call it a pet - and they really do let you die! I went through a heroic Halls of Reflection and came out with less than 30 silver in damage, but was constantly berated, left to die three times in the Old World (Ahn'Kharet? Refresh my memory, please?) and ended up with a 24g damage bill. How can you make it through unscathed in the last instance of the Heroic chain, but die three times in a lower level instance? What is wrong with people and why this lack of manners? We're in this together afterall.

My level 70 disc priest does about 1K over an instance. He has no aoe. I cleared 1350DPS on keleseth in a mix of outland and northrend started gear. People below 1K at 80 dont' know how to play. We had a hunter doing 170 DPS on a boss. 4 auto shots, 1 sting 4 arcane shots. I mean he wasn't even trying. "I'm beast mastery" people in the group were telling him to check his spec I just said "do more, if you're not doing anything but have abilities you can use, use them". I don't normally TELL people how to play because that's jackassery but this guy was awful. If he'd just had his cat throw up mid boss or something I'd understand...

Normally if someone sucks I politely suggest things "Oh if you lose 11% hit you'll still do the same damage AND can socket spellpower or haste" or "if you hate lifetapping you should try deep destro and grab isl" (though that wasn't advice for a crap player he just didnt' like to tap much and I was healing, I told him I didn't mind and he as afflic would recover the hp anyway but he said he didn't like it.. probably playing the wrong class but what can you do) and so on.

Lately I've been running randoms on my disc priest. Before outlands I'd get much better groups but suddenly everyone things they're in full epics doing a heroic aimed for blues and just spams aoe on multi pulls. Got adds? Aoe harder and pull aggro so the healer has to drink every damn pull. Outlands and on the jackasses returned. I( get tanks in half healer gear who haven't even socketed it (which would make most outlands gear uber if they just slammed def/stam gems in) and no TPS, DPS who pull aggro constantly and take massive amounts of damage when they dont' need to.

In fairness, if you ask a group nicely to do something, 9 times out of 10 they will. "Ah the nexus prince at the end of mana tombs, can you please kill adds first or they spawn nastier adds and it becomes impossible to heal" and they do. "Can people stand at max range and/or run from the dark smash?" and suddenly the group is healable. Good stuff.

I would say it's the pervasive mentality of "What's in it for me?" It's carried over from real life, into the gaming world: While we may stare at humanoids made of pixels on an electric board of moving images, there are real people behind those humanoid pixels. And as such, real people bring all their idiosyncrasies, quirks, mannerisms and more, in to the online world.

One thing I've noticed however, is that 'anonymity' in the online world is an illusion, just as it's an illusion in the real world. And like the real world, at some point, each action will return a consequence or several. Karma? Perhaps.

Those of us who realise we're all in the same boat, are those who are the more polite players in randoms, and throughout the game.

On the other hand, YMMV (your mileage may vary).

I don't think it's that anonymity is the issue with rudeness it is the fact that there is a vanishingly small chance that we will ever play with these folks again. Our virtual identities in a virtual world aren't anonymous in that world, i.e. the trade chat douchebags are known by all, we all know who the "good" guilds are on our server. But once the world opens up to encompass other realms which we don't regularly interact in gives people the idea they can be rude to hose people. I know that XXXXXXXXX on Dunemaul is a horrible tank, but I play on Thunderlord.
