But that will never happen. A buff to undead resists or something but it's whatever I may race swap to goblin when cata hits depending on the racial changes. Sorry to hear though (though not really), gnomes will still be short and easy to punt in WG. |

I heard that racial profession bonuses will be useful in Cataclysm. As in, Blood Elves get a bonus to JC. In Cataclysm, they'll be able to learn JC recipes that a JC of another race can't learn. My lock is undead, which right now, have no profession bonuses. |

Well the only race I could change to is an Orc to be more useful. But I like being a blood elf! So my opinion stands at, where's the % damage increase for belfs? And isn't it about time they got something actually useful for PvE DPS? |

I personally like the idea of racials being better for one class than another. Why does everyone insist that everything should be the same! A tauren SHOULD be a better warrior then a gnome! But a gnome should be a better rogue than a dreanie. Let and elf be a tank with more avoidance and a dwarf with more stamina in the same gear. Why can't humans be better healers than say an orc? Human theoretically are more calm and want to help each other, where orcs it's 'the strong survive' mentality. They shouldn't have ANY healers. (I don't care if I got the race/classes right, it's just 'for instance') |

Now that I've been playing my Orc Enhancement Shaman alt a while, I have become really annoyed about the DPS loss from being Forsaken as opposed to an Orc. 5% pet bonus plus spell power trink every 2 minutes. Changing race is an automatic and significant dps increase in all cases. I wish Blizzard would release more info on racial changes before i waste money on a race change. I actually enjoy being Forsaken, but that increased DPS is so tempting.

You won't be able to race change to goblin or worgen for a few months after release. |
