Think like 3.3.3, but LT bug?
Took advise from these forums and have been gearing up even though with 3.3.2 each shiny piece (1 exception) was giving me big Spirit and Haste losses (a problem when solo). 3.3.3 did 2 things, like Simc promised my dps went up in fights by a bit over 300dps. Is good, as I'd lost about that much from equipping new gear and previous patch affects. Life Tap is great, I found it barely affects life even when used at maximum to get mana instead of the before recommended level 1 version of LT. In fights, it always works and has not failed me, and I know the healers gotta love it too. But out of fights it usually works but sometimes I can keep hitting LT and my bars jerk their values but immediately go back to previous state and I get no new mana! Anyone else notice the same thing? This is bad, since I'm on pvp server and it can be exploited if it happens while I'm recovering out of quest combat and about to be attacked by opposing faction! So I'm the only one finding that with 3.3.3 Life Tap sometimes will not increase my mana whatsoever but this happens just sometimes and only when out of combat? Other times it works every time, fast as the cd will let me do it. I gotta prob with my WoW update or installation?  Or something I missed in patch notes that might make LT work like that sometimes? When it happens, I can cast something else (like refresh my Fel Armor even though it doesn't need it) and then LT will work again. No others having this issue too?  Edit: Darn it, when I reply to the thread from my post it INSERTS my reply (new post!) like an edit to the bottom of my op. Not my day, is it.

I'm GM in Fishing, trying to do daily was getting me lots of trash (weeds etc.) and after 3 lures I gave up and logged off, logged back on to discover 3.3.3a was live to address lots of bugs. So maybe those random things I experienced were fixed.

I've had it happen a few times, I notice it most when it happens in arena cuz that's when it screwed me the most  .Sometimes I LT and I lose life and gain no mana, sometimes I lose life and gain a little mana then a little more mana. It doesn't happen very often though. |
