I believe we are very fine as we are... i don't see any real important change in that list... extra mount ? i won't change anyone's game experience... searing pain useless ? it's just not meant to be used the way you think it is... and so on i just don't want to wall text your post is very educated, yet i wouldn't put any big hope in it |

Mount is under wishes, more a little joke, since there is so many crying about shitty things we need that are optional (though a few of them can be done in less time than it takes me to reach the damn fridge). And Searing Pain is useless ever since we got buffed in Classic. Maybe even before that. They only build a few encounter were we had to tank some kind of Boss or Mob. It's like Tranquilizing Shot for Hunters before they made it a lot more useful. I'd like to hear one intelligent use for SP that you can not do with something else more easily. And we're not fine as we are. Why? Because if we were fine, we wouldn't need patches. Most of our currently underwhelming spells would be so much fun that I couldn't find ONE THING on the list. So, no. We're not fine. Because this is an MMO, there is no such state as "fine". There is only "slightly less nerfed & bugged than others" ;) |

Searing Pain was Destruction's filler spell. Until we were doing 28k dps, then it was nerfed. |

I could see Searing Pain being instant cast with maybe a 3 or 4 sec cooldown, no threat modifier, and a slight buff to damage but not enough to be overpowered. That way we could have on demand burst thats not tied to Immolate or a wounded state phase (Shadowburn). |

Searing Pain is quite useful while leveling as destruction before you get Incinerate. The short cast time and decent damage (about the same overall DPCT as SB) make it the preferred filler spell in a lot of cases. It works well to slip it in between immolate and conflag when an instant would be wasted and SB's cast time is too long. In lower-level instances, the threat generation is not a problem. Leveling as Destruction 1-80 Plus, there's PvP where a quick SP is nice. In raids at 80 it's a bit of a gimmick but that doesn't mean it needs "fixing'.
