A warlock guide
So i've been debating whether or no not to make a warlock guide to affliction and destro for a while now. I would like some input on what you guys would like to see in the guide. I plan on referencing some people so i will have to hit them up before i start making this guide. Thanks in advance for your responses .

Re: A warlock guide
There are a few things that should show up in guides: Basic feel of the class/specs How to spec Glyphs Reforging Gems Enchants Rotations/priorities for each spec Commonly asked Questions or mistakes for new locks maybe some advanced sections on haste plateaus and additional DPs boosts (I don't recall if the demo pet switch at the beginning on a fight is still a gain) That should give you a pretty lengthy jumping off point!

Re: A warlock guide
Hard to say this late in the x-pac. Almost seem like you'd want to go straight from noob locks, to how to gear for end game, and the easiest way to make that transition.

Re: A warlock guide
Perhaps a blurb or some bit on how the two specs fit into current content and how to best utilize them per fight. For example, I find affliction to be amazing on madness, but to an inexperienced player, it can be hard to see how well this spec works for the fight. Hope you kind of get the idea of what I'm trying to say. Nitch filling by spec I guess? Last edited by Kasha; February 21, 2012 at 02:05 PM.. |

Re: A warlock guide
I failed to mention that i have not been able to PvE this content so it will be an all PvP guide. Thank you for your ideas though. I am writing them down and shall start tomorrow in the computer lab

Re: A warlock guide
These are all good suggestions but how about something a little different? So much that is written in the official forums and EJ is about end game play, how about some hints for Locks that are leveling? How about the best way to handle trash mobs instead of a rotation that is really only effective on bosses? How about hints on leveling associated professions like tailoring or cooking? Comments on when it is wortwhile to buy the most expensive gems and when you will burn through that belt in about 2 weeks? Best places to find mats for locks? Just some things that have not been discussed before.

Re: A warlock guide
suggestions rescinded. I guess if it's an all pvp guide, some notes about synergy for specific comps and maybe pros and cons of each? |
