Gnome vs Human
I just found out that Gnomes have higher stats and better abilities in terms of engineering and warlocks (which I am), I recently rolled a human lock, hes level 12 with my voidwalker, and I just looked around and saw that gnomes get escape artist and +15 to engineering, should I reroll and make a gnome or is escape artist and the engineernig skills really that important?

You should be what you want to be. If you like human (Ewww, dirty humans) then be human. Humans get +rep bonus which is nice and whatever else they get. If you like gnomes and could see yourself playing one of those circus freaks then go ahead. BUT I suggest you go Undead. Undead rule all. Not only do we look cooler but we got Will of the Forsaken and we eat alliance after we kill them, best taunt in the game! Seriously whats more insulting then eating you after beating you. I also like to picture his buddies face as he runs up to see me eating his friend. Just happy thoughts....  But seriously.... if you don't like gnomes then you won't be happy with your character no matter what racial abilities it has. AciDRaiN |

I started gnome for those reasons and hated it. I rerolled a human. Oh and don't worry I have an undead Lock on another server. |

Will of the Forsaken is an overpowered racial ability in many people's minds... but anyway, the topic is Gnome vs Human.... (didn't see undead in there anywhere)... How we look aside... I've got a human lock and was regretting the +5% intellect bonus gnomes have for awhile... But after keybinding my perception ability to the ` key, then I'd never look back.. It's so useful in killing those pesky rogues. After grinding CC rep in silithus, boy am I glad I got a 10% rep bonus!... The more I play lock the more I realise I don't really need much intellect anyway... So in the end, I'm happy that I'm human. Escape artist is cool too, but I like perception more. And yea, it sux when you are too small to see over a tuft of grass...

I would love to be an undead warlock, and Ill make one on another server but all my friends play on Alliance here so, its either Human or Gnome... What I see in gnomes: + +15 Engineering (Im an engineer/miner so.. it works well) + Intellect bonus/Highest Intellect/Agility bonus in the game + Really diverse storyline behind them + Escape artist useful in BG/world pvp + Highest starting mana + Arcane resistance - Size (Kinda small but oh well) - No rep bonus Humans: + Rep Bonus + Perception (How often can this be useful though? Dont we get a perception with our felhunter at a certain level?) + Good size, but kind of funny looking run + Level 13 already, with 10g invested into it, and a 20 slot shard bag - Lowest starting stats So its tough to decide... give up all my gear and stats and bags to reroll to get arcanse resistance, higher mana, +15 engineernig and escape artist

At sone point you will hit 60 and want reputation with the various factions. The +10% to rep gains on humans is very good then. I play a human warlock and wouln'd trade it for gones anytime. |
