30/21/10...max DPS spec?

Take a look.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...00000000000000

Purpose: To get the most DPS out of a warlock for raiding. It may be a tad selfish on utility side, but for raw DPS I don't think it can be beay.

Playstyle: Sac Succubus for the +15% shadow damage right off the bat. Since you also have Shadow Mastery which is another 10% shadow damage your main damage will be coming from dots and shadowbolts. Basically you use Curse of Agony, Corruption and Shadowbolt away, reapplying dots when needed. You might want to throw SL on as well, not sure how much or if that improves raid damage. Life Tap/Drain Life, Bandage, HS, pot, wait for heal to resume mana.

Gear: You want as much +damage gear as possible; +shadow damage is fine also. Crit gear is not important as you are spamming 2.5 second cast spells. Let mages waste the DKP on +crit gear.

Although you are doing nothing out of the norm and mostly spamming SBs, I think it provides some nasty DPS, especially when SBs are going to be hitting for close to 2K a pop when at level 70. Any comments/suggestions/flames?

Yeah. It's selfish as hell. You won't have your imp out for Blood Pact. It relies on you using Curse of Agony instead of CoE and CoS. It's really limited in PvP (you might actually lose to a class that's not a rogue or pally), but all in all, I think it's really solid DPS.

Come on if you're not in the MT group it's ok not to have the imp out. I was DS-specced during a long period and it was perfectly fine to have no demon, as long as I would summon it in case I was the only warlock present.

And you can still put a resistance debuff on the mob. The dps loss will be the same that with any spec.

Still this build is very pre-bc style. I know I'll want to try a new style of dps, incinerating or drain/bolting

Its not bad, not bad at all i have a similar version for raiding though i have more crit gear so didnt go as far into affliction and got Ruin instead. The only thing i find wrong with your spec is why is there one point in shadow embrace? why not chuck it in Suppression where you only had 3 points?

Completly get rid of DESTRO and put those pts in Contigation for FULL DPS OUTPUT

Good point. I may as well do that. My reasoning behind it was to increasing the Drain Life attack (obviously), since that's the main way you would regen health after Life Tapping.

Two things:
  1. If you skip out on Bane, over the course of time your Shadowbolt damage will be around 20% less than if you had Bane. .5 sec saved on cast time = 1 extra SB every 15 seconds. That 20% less damage on SB is a bigger hit than a 5% damage on your DoTs any day.
  2. The build you gave included Dark Pact, which is unnecessary since you are saccing Succubus for this build.

Re: 30/21/10...max DPS spec?

yup this is the best raiding build (DPS wise) so far

ryuenza your build is a joke and you know it. having DP and DS in one build is complete nonsense. think about bane aswell. SB is (still) your primary damage spell, dont gimp it for 17%

Re: 30/21/10...max DPS spec?

For outrageous DPS, this seems the best to me. Of course, it's all fire damage, but you could sacrifice your imp and rez him if you're an engineer. Actually, can you still do that in BC? +15% with the gear bonus and other destro bonuses seems nasty. Of course, no insta-corruption. Plus, with a upgraded imp, you could use him as an additional DOT.

Edit:
Sorry, was late for lunch, here's the correct link.
