Basically it comes down to two factors....your level and secondaly your gears. If you want to pve and be top of the damage meter there is no other warlock build that will do it more so than 0.21.40...this is a fact. If you want to pwn in pvp then you have to go sl/sl in my opinion to truly pwn and be hardy. Personally i was 40.0.21 through my raidin until i reached SSC. I had gathered enough crit gears to be able to carry off the destro build, imo you need at least 22% crit ratin on your stats before you spec into destruction and with this to have your hit ratin as close to the cap is a major help in hittin your target and therefore not wastin your mana. The build is hard at first to manage the threat generation you produce and the mana you tear through while you are pew pewin. As some one mentioned in an earlier about fire locks owning on damage...well as far as i am concerned it's a case of whatever floats your boat. If you want to go fire then havin a good haste ratin is essential to make full advantage of the cast time of incinerate. I am a SB spammer and i am at the top of the dps meter with the other SB spammin lock in my guild...we do own,apart from those sneeky rogues who pop up now and again to have a look what ity's like at the top  .
