For the mana problem wasnt the new Fel Armor ment to have some mp5 with it??? Or was I just dreaming it ;p Id love to do some testing my self on the PTR but the Test Dummies in Orgri are at level 80 at least on my server Last edited by Alsaladin; September 23, 2008 at 11:38 AM.. |

Does anyone have actual numbers, WWS parses, recount screenshots, armory profiles, or ANYTHING solid for us to get an idea of how things are panning out? So far all I've seen is a bunch of comments and rough numbers and linked builds, which really isn't telling us anything. My character xfer to the PTR hasn't happened yet, and I'd really like to get a REAL idea of how the new destruction tree looks before it goes live and I'm trying to raid with it.

Desperation, do you know what your damage breakout was with the imp spec? I'm curious as to how much of your overall damage the imp is responsible for. Also, have you tried any other rotations besides the straight fire you posted toward the top of the thread? I'm hearing that maximum potential DPS is being done with Immo -> Incin x whatever -> Conflag -> Shadow Bolt x3. Obviously you need to weave DoTs and Taps in there, but on EJ that's what looks to be coming out on top. Did you do any testing with a rotation like that?

We started with a bloodlust which peaked my DPS just shy of 3700, which woudl have been possibly higher and sustained longed if I had had Imp soul leach as I had to tap at the end of hero. I shut my imp off a fwetimes to let him regen his mana, but his dps was extremely high. I dont beleive my recount is showing his damage, i'll have to change that for a future test. I've dropped points out of intensity, 2 from Backlash, and 1 from shadowfury  to pick up 5/5 soul leach. I suspect with the change to spell push back and raid wide consentration aura that this change for mana efficiency will outweigh dps lost due to spell push back.Video For this clip I had the folowing results: 70% Crit rate on Incin 57.1% Crit rate on ShadowBolt 75% Crit rate on Chaos Bolt 100% Crit rate on Conflag 62.5% Crit rate on Immolate My imps crit rate had to be +90%, which could have been broken or could be how he scales off my crit when I am fully buffed, as well as him having the same group buffs. I didnt even think to look at the character sheet value. I'm going to go spec Soul leach and see if I can get a similar group for another crack at it. I have high expectations for variations of these builds in a raid now. So far, 3 group buffs gave a ~750 dps increase. |

Downloading now.... Edit: Excellent - and was that a Liquid Tension Experiment track? Good Choice I would definatley agree that the mana issue screams "Imp Soul Leech" and I would love to see what kind of DPS your imp is producing compared to the estimates I have seen thus far.....try and get a Shadow Priest and go for a sustained test, I would love to see that.

Improved Sould Leach is REQUIRED for this spec. I posted that a few times up. But everyone who tries impdestro has to pick up that talent. |

Has anyone tried a 0/46/15 build for 3.0? Felguard/Ruin? http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?warl...21500135021300 I seem to be having the best dps output with this build. CoE Corruption SB SB SB etc... I tried Aff and Destro and this out DPS's those by about 400-500 dps everytime. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but this seems to be working for me. |
