Theleb, could you elaborate on your cast order?

I am a solo playing heavy Affliction Lock, and I'm trying to get some idea of the "style" of play that the new builds offer. For instance, I have always used the VW, and it has served me very well. But now, am I going doggie? That, and your use of the word "juggle" to describe your new casts has me very curious. Please, describe one of your fights.

Ok, I'm doing mostly PVP and was wondering what should I change from Gwyl specifications? Could anyone give me some points or show me a talent tree?
Thank you

I raided with 2/2 talents in imp FH and dark pact yesterday and I would say you need both talents in imp FH to keep your mana up with dark pact alone (I had to lifetap as well in long fights).

The afflicition spec is new to me as I have been a destruction lock for more than 2 years but with the patch I took the opportunity to try something new and so far I like it although Im still experimenting with spell rotations and minor changes in my talent tree (currently 56/0/5)

Although Im doing okey on boss fights and on aoe trash (the extra damage on SoC from the affliction tree is sweet) my dps on trash that goes down fast is lousy.

My lock is an alt so I have only been on 2 raids with this spec and I haven't sorted which dots (if any) actually are worth using on trash that goes down relatively fast. After last nights raid I even considered whether just SBing on trash would give better dps than spending time on dots that never get the full duration. I would really appreciate to hear about others experience with affliction spec on trash.

Regarding Grim reach I didnt take points in this talent as I considered that I had to get in range for my SB fillers anyway and SB range isnt affected by Grim reach. However, I found my spell range to be annoyingly short in raids and with an increased range of affliction spells from grim reach you can get a few curses and dots of while running into range for your SB, so I think I am going to change this

Moving this to the Information Center for safe keeping.
