Re: 0/41/30 Rotation Question
Any build with MC benefits from having corruption up. And yes Freyori, the Chaotic Skyflare Diamond is the right choice for meta gem. |

thanks for the advice so far and as for the Chaotic Skyflare Diamond. Your saying the spellpower I have to sacrifice for the CSD 2 blue requirement is worth it then? I just put it on and gave up 2 19 spellpowers for 2 purples that give 9 sp and some stamina I believe.. it sure seems like my dps dropped tho? Maybe just a bad go at the heroic dummy perhaps? I am gonna play with my talents a bit and see if maybe I can give up some points somewhere. |

For the Blue gem req, I recommend Purified Twilight Opal - SP and Spirit. |

2 levels to go before I get to 80 and I'm starting to think about my raiding spec. I've decided to go for the 0/41/30 build but I have a quick question regarding the trash mobs/patrols. I'm happy with the rotation on single boss targets but what's the best way to deal with the trash mobs/patrols? By this I mean should I, A) Focus on 1 target at a time, keeping the rotation going and wait for the target to die before moving on, or, B) Apply the dots to all targets, then return to the first and continue with the rotation? I apologise if this sounds like a stupid question but I keep hearing different things :( |

Re: 0/41/30 Rotation Question
I dot 1 or two with corruption to proc Molten Core, then Rain of Fire till stuff dies. If you dot single targets till they die and then move on to the next, you won't be very mana efficient nor will you do as much dps on trash as you could be doing. |

Re: 0/41/30 Rotation Question
for my current build i hit corruption>immolate>Curse of Agony>conflag then spam a few incinerates while waiting just didnt see many people with that rotation. i usually sit around 2.5k with a maxx on trash of close to 4k |

@peteuk01 - if your in a guild then talk to your raid leader about this, I'm used to swapping out tanks and not all of them generate agro as fast as others. Trash is all about safely clearing it in an expeditious manner and your raid leader controls that. If you have tanks that have great AOE threat then you can try things like tossing a few corruptions out then dropping fire. If they handle that well enough then you can move on to just seeding and see how they do. Normally the corruption/fire combination is a safer thing to do since it gives the tank a few global cd's to get into the agro lead. |
