This was a well timed thread as I came here looking for a discussion on it. ol I've been soul link ever since I dinged 60 and have enjoyed it, but I was wanting to pump up my dps on raids a little. I was worried about sacrificing too much in pvp but I think I'll manage. I'll repost again in a couple of weeks and let people know how it is. |

I've been having fun with the build, yesterday I was having my paladin rez my imp every 30 minutes... people at first were like WTF? what are you doing ? I explained it to them then they understood. Meanwhile it worked nicely for a while then stopped working... don't know why, just kept giving my paly an error msg - Invalid Target. Though because we're on TS I know for certain that it was timed right, because at first it needed a few tries then he got it, and figured out the timing... from now on when we're running instances together he's my designated pet rezzer... though I'm always gonna get +15% to Fire damage... Tank's love the stamina buff... :-( no extra shadow for me... It's a great spread for talent points the 7-21-21 +2, but like I've stated before, I still feel like I'm lacking so many nice things... Master Demonology (5/5 is pretty sweet), Soul Link I can live without... Shadow Mastery (5/5 haven't tried it yet though but looks great), Nightfall (for me procc'ed at least once per fight sometimes up to 3 times in a row when I had that.. that was awesome). I'm thinking I'll end up respeccing again though, I don't feel like I'm using Demonic Sac enough to justify getting that talent... I don't know... our talents are all too awesome to make a choice... Maybe I'll just change every week (man that would be expensive! lol) But one thing is for certain, it is by far the best way to get a bit of everything... Instant cast Corruption, Imp LT, DS, Master Summoner (very handy with Fel Domination) and let's not forget some damage output... Ruin (with our Destructive reach which is very nice) Anyways, overall a great build... Gonna try Shadow Mastery soon though... SM/Ruin.. after that, I think I will make my final choice on builds.. |

I'm glad we have another happy Warlock ol To bad Demonic sacrifice wasn't a given spell, still seems silly to spend points into better pets just to sac them and not gain the utlity of the points spent in the tree, but till then keep sac'n! Was SM/Ruin before this build, wasn't bad, bummed alot of water, believe it or not i farmed at a slower rate, but still good dps on raids. Just wasn't my playstyle. On the master demonoligist talent/SL... i do miss, but with new gear starting to show where your target's resist is lowered by X kinda put a damper on the phat resists shared with the felhunter. and MD isn't worth giving up insta corruption even if somone does always res your pet. Gotta go, later folks! |
