Talent Spec / Current Gear

Hi,

Firstly sorry if I've posted in wrong section!

The proposed spec I am looking togo is (currently SL/SL);

http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IEMriRfzVt0oZxx0xM

44/0/17

and my current gear on armory is;

http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...ure+Co&n=Miril

-

I have a couple questions to ask, firstly.

1. The spec I have posted, would you say it's a good build? Is there anything you would drop or pick up? I have to emphasise that 5/5 Fel Con is needed for dailies, Imp HoT I never use in PvE and the same with CoEx. I do not engage in PvP and therefore talents for that arent worthwhile - I do however farm BG's for honor, currently aiming at the S1 EoTs blade. In raids (10man) I am normally the only Warlock, and we normally only have 1 or 2 mages, so I think Malediction isnt worth it's points.

2. I have gemmed all the stuff I have to the best I can, but I was thinking the other day about what todo with hands and belt - Should I replace the +9 spell damage gems with +8 spell hit gems? If I do this then I wont be far from 202 hit if I include the head/gloves hit enchant, and farm CE for the ring.

Re: Talent Spec / Current Gear

Firstly, you need two threads - one to address your build, one to address your gear. I've moved this one to the correct section for build evaluations but we like to keep things to a concise format:

How to submit a talent build question! - The Warlocks Den Forums

For the gear evaluations:

Equipment and Quests - The Warlocks Den Forums

Take the time to read the sticky threads, do a little homework:

WoW Warlock DPS Spreadsheet

You'll probably find that will all this self-education that many of the questions you were going to ask have been addressed - for the rest feel free to post

Re: Talent Spec / Current Gear

Some suggestions for you...Malediciton helps on CoEle and with 1-2 mages....use it like a mad dog. That should increase your raids dps pretty well. Armory seems to be acting funny this morning...so I can't really speak to your gear. 5 points in suppression seems excessive to me....what is your hit? Try to regem a bit to drop those points as quickly as possible. Don't gimp your damage just to hit that cap (so I would say don't replace all +9 dam with +8 hit).
