[Raiding] DPS not improving despite gear upgrades...

Hello all... looking for help on a good talent spec for me. I'm currently a Demo lock who raids Kara weekly. We've got it on farm for a while now so i'm slowly building up my gear to acceptable levels for raiding. The problem I have is that even though my gear is getting better, my DPS isnt going up along with it. Last nights Kara run saw me lower than i'd like on the DPS charts for most bosses (450-500 dps range) which was 5-6 best in the group which i'm not happy about. The question I have is whether or not my current spec is attributing to this problem? I moved to demo from affliction for purposes of upping my spell damage to enter Kara but i'm afraid its hindering me now.

So should i go back to affliction? What build do you recommend. I also PVP a fair amount, and i've found PVPing with affliction to be difficult to say the least. Any thoughts on that? Also if there are any gear problems let me know.
