[pvp, raiding] Affliction spec help

I am currently a level 58.. almost 59 working my way through the outlands.

I have been working towards an eventual 45/5/11 talent spec (UA, 5 in demonic embrace, SB) I LOVE the affliction lock playstyle. SCARY dots.

Anyway, my question is this: this being not only my first warlock but my first character PERIOD I am not that educated on many things about WOW. After reading around the forum I haven't come across many people with this spec.. or read much about it at all. Is this because it is dominated by other affliction specs?

For an affliction lock wanting to do pvp and raiding eventually, is this a good build?
