30/31/0 ??

I've been doing some research for an alternative build to the generic 24/37/0 build for arenas but couldn't find any posts or discussions about going 30/31/0 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IVorrRfkqZbxczIizzLo .

This build would be focused on dealing more damage through maxing out Shadow Mastery 5/5 and forgoing Demonic Knowledge. Being that my pet is the FF of most melee teams and often I end up running around w/o a pet I'd still like to be able to dish out damage and not have to rely of my pet's survival.

Has anyone else tested out this spec? Thoughts or Comments?

Like you, I have been searching for alternatives to SL/SL for quite some time now, and I am currently running a FG spec with mixed results in various double DPS 2's teams. However I played this spec for quite some time after being dissapointed with the lack of DPS that the standard 24/37/0 gives, and I was quite happy with it. It combines the perks of SL/SL (generally not getting as much attention as your teammates in arena) with more damage potential. However the one thing it lacks is real burst damage, which was very frustrating for me, so I felt the need to respec to FG when I started doing some 2v2 with other DPS parteners as opposed to healers. But in general it worked well in arenas, and it was better than the standard SL/SL build with regards to PvE.
