Affliction / Demonology build

This is my first post on this I must say great and quite useful forum, so hello to all members!

I'm playing as a lock for quite some time and I really love to experiment with builds, and now since my current lock is not yet 70 I can't fully see advantages of my experimental build.

Here is the link to build -> Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft and as you see it's 44/17/0 build.

The idea of the build is to create an affliction lock who avoids destruction tree, to put it that way. I see this build as one which can be good at grinding, raiding and going bg or arena (covers everything). Ofc you are not independent as much as some similar builds but if you drive your char well enough you can dismiss that also by my opinion (as mentioned it's not tested on end level yet).

Affliction tree:

Under this tree most of talents are leveled and with one thing i think some of member will not agree - howl of terror being passed. This requires a lot of prediction and knowlage of actual values such as your/party debuffs, hp, mana, rage, energy etc. If one can handle that he saves himself 2 points which can be spent for something more useful to affliction lock.

Nothing else makes this tree different from classic affliction builds.

Demonology tree:

I found this tree as quite useful for affliciton lock because it gives you more bonuses while drain/tanking and keeping your mana pool full all time during any kind of battle you are at currently.

Demonic embrace - Gives you more stamina and with that, ofc, improves your life tapping.

Improved Imp - Gives you more boost for stamina, improves other imp spells and gives imp more intel (dark pact).

Fel Intelect - Talent allows you to improve your dark pact (do it more times than usualy) for whichever pet you are currently using (imp is recomended because of 3 points spent).

Fel Stamina - Increases both yours and pet's stamina. Bonus here is besides more improved life tap for you, your pet will be able to soak more damage if it's exposed. That allows you to focus on other things knowing your pet will not die from few AoE spells casted by for eg. some instance boss.

Demonic Aegis - This is an optional talent which I preffer because it improves my drain/tanking a lot.

I hope some of you will find this build useful, but above all I hope someone will give a good critic to it allowing me to se if I made some mistakes or predicted something wrongly. Hope you enjoyed reading! Cheers!
