Can I get away with a 38/21/0 spec and 'multi dotting' in my gear

Hi all,

It's my first post here, and I'm looking for some advice on what to do and preparing to farm & compete all quests for cash. Currently I'm level 68, and I still have a ton of quests to do (just started questing nagrand).

I'm considering switching from Demo 16/41/2 (2 in dest, what was i thinking) to a 38/21/0 spec for spamming dots/ihot on a bunch of mobs.
I'm just not sure if I can get away with that in my current gear, or if I would be murdered in seconds.

The plan is, with a sacced pet (succy?):
Siphon Life -> Curse of Agony -> corruption (on like 3+ mobs) -> ihot -> xp

Can I get away with that with my current gear? (Keeping in mind I'll lose extra hp etc from the demo tree) What would my downtime be like?

p.s. currently I have 0 downtime 99% of the time. Killing just insn't that quick.
