Retro raiding builds

Hello all. After being in one of many guilds to topple over on m'uru, I'm looking for something different and found it in the pre-bc guild Heralds of Yore. My question to you all is, what do you feel is the most optimal dps spec for raiding at 60? As I wasn't a warlock back in naxx, I don't recall the builds at the time other than SM / Ruin and 9/21/21. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sm/Ruin was the cookie-cutter back then as far as I recall (I raided on my rogue at the time and was slightly ignorant of Warlocks apart from their occupying the same niche as mages in BG's "lolambushbacktabnext").

I remember a lot of fuss being made when affliction was buffed but for the life of me I can't actually remember when that was....
