[General] 46/0/15, a viable spec?
Character Name: Phrenchie
Armory Profile: The World of Warcraft Armory Wowhead link of current build in use: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft Right now, most of the stuff I'm running are heroics and the occasional Kara, Gruuls, Mag's, etc. I'm specced as I currently am so I can boost the DPS of the other shadow (and now frost/fire) users and reduce damage done to the usually less than epic tanks I run with. My DPS usually tops out at about 350 on trash and about 600 on bosses. Is there anything in particular in the 46/0/15 build im using that is useless and is gimpping my own DPS? P.S.- I'd prefer to stay affliction and keep the points I have in malediction and shadow embrace where they are. |

Re: [General] 46/0/15, a viable spec?
imo you're gimping yourself in general with your equipment choice...1h+oh > 2h.
your spellhit is quite low...you're the malediction-lock in raids, so amp.curse is less viable for you, but a dmgboost in 5-mans. [maxed out soul siphon...mh, wouldve put 1 point into amp.curse - coex can be nice if youre on fearing-duty...Soul Siphon 0/2 would allow you to skill shadowburn, which is nice for that itty bit of burst...] I'm pretty sure that you as an utility-focused warlock are doing quite fine with 600 DPS on bosses and all your buffs to other guys' damage. |
