RFC: Destruction for Level 70 (3.0.2) Raiding
Dear Warlocks, after a 10 month retirement my lil' gnome warlock found back it's way into BC-raiding. The last 2 weeks were great - i kept throwing shadow bolts at everything that was larger than me (ok, some squirrels as well, but that does not count  ). Now that the patch is deployed i found myself in a different game - I don't know how that dwarf paladin did that, but she outdamaged me in Karazhan. Anyway, i seriously thought about the following raid specc: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft Instead of firing SB, I thought about the following priority list: Curse (Curse of Agony prefered for "Molten Core") > Corr > Chaos Bolt > Immo > Incinerate My pet imp was also pretty fun, since he crit'ed that often, that i had Empowered Imp effect up nearly 75% of the time (actually i'm not sure, if a crit refreshes the effect, when it's already up (!!)). Ok, some impressions from this build: it's quite fun to play, mostly because the main part is immo+inc+inc+inc... In 25 player raids I reached around 1300 dps with this build (compared to ~1000 with affi), which is quite nice for my gear level. I changed the specc a bit to have have another 3% hit on affliction and have my imp fire up faster, which leads to this build: Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft Regs Rob |
