3.0.2 - Best Levelling Talent Build?
Hey guys Any suggestions as per subject? My warlock is currently level 27. The WoW Wiki article seems to be outdated now, and is confusing as someone else has edited it with second opinions and links to talent specs that don't work or make any sort of sense :( Anyone know of any other websites with builds post 3.0.2 patch please? Would love to hear your suggestions? Many thanks |

Demon or Affliction. I leveled as Demon, switched to Affliction. My new warlock alt is leveling as Affliction. Not sure about Destro. |

This is my build and it's pretty nice. I"m not the best geared lock out there, mainly T4/T5 and equivalents but with this build I have GREAT survivability. No problem taking down Durn solo. You can also use Meta with Immolation aura and rain of fire for AOE killing spree. I've aggro'd as many as 12 or more level 68 - 70 mobs and taken them all down with this technique. The World of Warcraft Armory The VW becomes an awesome tank with this build. He generates more threat then alot of MT's I've run with recently. Send him in and pop Demonic Empowerment and then go all out nuke...you'll never pull aggro off of him. Using the AOE technique I just mentioned Iwent over 2400dps on the training dummies in IF this morning.

Hi Logan, I just power leveled my lock from 1 to 70 in just under 9 days of game time. I've found that affliction up to level 60 was the best (that was pre-patch tho). Drain tanking is awesome you have zero down time. It really starts to make sens at level 30 when you get siphon life. Then you just run around with your pet of choice, depending on what you do, use your 3 instant dots, lifetap and drain life, ending with drain soul to get a shard/mana back. I'd use something like that: Warlock - Talents - Thottbot: World of Warcraft If you don't already use it, QuestHelper is a good tool to help you level fast. Tells you exactly where to go on your map for quests and such, so you don't have to alt-tab to wowhead all the time. At 40 you get Dark Pact which makes things even better. I "used" to run with a phased out imp and just use him for blood pact / mana battery, but now it looks like the felhunter might be a better option for added dps. Drain tanking isn't the fastest or coolest way to kill mobs but it's non-stop. If you party with other players just use corruption and drain life. This should get you to Outland pretty quick. |
