[Patch 3.1.2] Demo/Destro Builds Discussion
This thread is being kicked off to discuss Demo/Destro Hybrid builds with all the changes happening each patch. Please note this thread is for DISCUSSION of builds. Don't fill it up with 'what's the best build, is this a good build, can someone give me a build' type reponses. More discussions, less spoon feeding! Feel free to shoot me an email if there are certain builds you'd like linked into this first post to discuss. thewarlocksden[at]gmail[dot]come. Make sure you include a WoWhead link of the build and a short paragraph (or more) on why you think it's worth using.

is decimation worth it in the 41/30 builds has anyone tested this? or demonic frenzy and 1 more into more crit be better the decimation? |

Personally i would keep it, because i gained about 200-350 more dps. Also, i can finally use soul fire which is very awesome.

Well, mine is Lifetap(Glyph of Lifetap) Immolate, Curse of Agony, Corruption, then spam Incinerate. |

I recently started using decimation in my built. Rotation is as always Immolate, Curse of Agony, Corruption, SB and then spam Incernate till the target reaches <35% hp, then keep Immolate up throw Incernate followed by a SF when decimation is up. Depending on distance that can be 1:1 (close range) or 2:1 (far range). dps went up by about 200~300 dps compared to what I used before which was alot like regas' rotation. |

Im running a 0/41/30 build and am loving it. My rotation is always as follows. Curse - Corruption - Immolate - Life tap - Incin spam... Rinse and repeat intill < 35% then i drop corruption if i have Curse of Agony up. and do my best to get a 1:1 SF - Incin spam going... Refresh dots and rinse and repeat till dead. Usually hitting 5K dps on most fights. I like keeping immolate and corruption together as they drop off at the same time. |

Just curious as to why you have lifetap towards the end of your rotation, instead of the beginning? Wouldn't you want all of you spells to benefit from the sp gain? |

ok i switched to 0/41/30 and was using Curse of Agony, corr, imm, then spam inc. I was told by another warlock not to use Curse of Agony and still see people posting it as their rotation so is it worth keeping it in my rotation. and also after 35% i use inc, inc, soul fire, just curious should i still refresh the dots after i start the rotation cause im losing dps when i do this and im waiting til decimantion pops up. |
