Just a question for a rare raiding build
Hi guys, i have just tested all the info about raiding builds, and now i want to come out with something new... it could be good or the worse build ever, but just in case i ask you guys, have you tried something like this ??? Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft The pet to use is the succubus wich gives you a 5% chance to crit with SB and improves by 5% your shadowdamage, plus we have the improved SB wich gives 5% more crit for shadowbolt. Considering the points in affliction and the 2 set bonus from T7 (10% crit for SB) this would be equivalent to 0/40/31 but for shadow damage. with my gear i have 22% crit chance + 5% from succu + 5% from ISB + 10% from 2 set T7 bonus....... you could have 1 chance every 2 SB to crit and i have crits for 7k-8k sometimes, all this plus strong dots ticking. Has somebody tried something like this??? if so what were the results?? PS: I was no able to post this in the talent section (don't know why the new thread button did not work for me), so i hope not to bother to much here : ( |

Though, from the looks of it, 0/41/30 will be noticeably better, if you are wanting to try a shadow version, why not move 2pts from Imp Life Tap into Destro to get Devastation? You could also move 2 more points from Affliction and pickup Decimation from the Demo tree as well. However, either way I look at it, 0/41/30 still seems better.

:O Superpoof i think you are absolutly right so the talen build would look like this for everyone who wants to give an opinion. 8/42/21 Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft or 6/42/23 Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft this way we can use CoE, CoD instead Curse of Agony and have a better immolate. thanks for your observations. I strongly suggest getting the felguard. Its a huge dps boost, much more than the 5% crit you get from the succy. This is for the first spec presented. I don't think its such a bad spec besides that, you have supression and provide the ISB raid buff which most hybrid specs don't do. Of course its not one of the super-duper-high-dps specs but I think it will still do a good job. Besides that, I don't like the later specs with only 6 or 8 points in affliction. At the point where you have 20+ points in destro it makes no sense not going for the 15% damage increase from emberstorm. |
