Constantly getting booted!
An I don't blame them. I've done well with my warrion and recently started on my lock to run dungeons. I have only made it through one w/o getting kicked off. First of all, Teon, you did an excellent job and answered alot of questions! It looks like I need to change my talent tree a little for destro. I was pretty much using the rotation suggested but will follow it like you said. Also, I need to raise my 2 professions. I think I'll do alchemy and herbalism as I did on my warrior because it was useful and quick. I only achieve 1.5k-3.5k dps on mobs in a dungeon (non heroic of course) Outside of what I stated above, does anyone have some quick fix solutions to get my dps up? You should also have access to my talent tree through my armory url. Thanks in advance and again, thanks Teon for putting in the time!!!! |

Suppose you saw the rotation post, soul fire -> immolate > conflag > chaos bolt > corruption / bane of doom/agony / incinerate. Put your pet on defensive. On trash immolate all mobs, then run in melee and shadow flame. then conflag/chaos bolt/incin at will. Doubt it's worth keeping up improved soul fire on trash. 4 or more mobs, rain of fire. But still put up immolate on all and sahdowflame, those are much better then RoF if the mobs do not die instantly. 6+ mobs just use sahdow flame and rain of fire and skip immolate. If you do that, you gotta double your dps atleast. |

You are wasting some 650 points on hit you don't need, 252 of them coming from Soul's Anguish, which is wasting trinket slot by itself. Hit cap is 6% for instances, assuming you won't raid at current gear level. You are wasting some 140 points on spirit with shoulders/chest. These items may be better than former gear, but keep in mind that related to item level you are a blender in these two slot. Shoulders are pvp anyway, change asap, effective ilvl is far less than 333 as a rough guess. Healer chest is hardly better than ivl 346 Ramkahen rep reward. Nightmare tear is NO GO, Prismatic socket means you can put in any gem but meta, NOT restricting you to prismatic gems, 40 hit as well as 40 mastery gems are sub par. Audit says '1 unenchanted item, 2 empty sockets', Staff enchant is sub par. Change tabard to a faction one other than 'faction Valkyrie'. Currently you are leaving ilvl 359 gloves, feet, neck, ilvl 346 ring and 2nd tier of shoulder's enchant by not maxing out rep. ofc you're missing some 8% damage increase by ISF. As you said, retalent into mainstream build. No more info, no more hints. ;)
