Hey ... wot bout res?

er...i believe it will be cheap for warlocks to train in fire, shadow and holy resistance. the higher levels of each resistance come with a % chance of reflection. the previous push gave a maximum of 7% reflection when upgraded all the way. nature and frost resistance will be more expensive to train in. this is all of course based on the previous push. who knows what the system will be with the next push.

Hey ... wot bout res?

They will have resistances, as stated above. Btw sorry to be nagging and such... but could you refrain from using abbreviations for words? It really makes the forums look much nicer and is actually in the forum rules. Not having a go - but try to keep the abbreviations to a minimum in future please. =)

Hey ... wot bout res?

(he's having a go. poke him with the stick again!)

but yeah, we all theoritically know english here. let's embrace the concept of litteracy, at least here.

sorry if that was mean but i'm at work. that's liable to happen.

Hey ... wot bout res?

Yah sorry about abbreviations.. i get used to it by playing online... and i thought the forum rules would be *No Flaming or Spamming* etc so i didnt read them (my bad). Anyway... i didn't meen warlock resistances... but resistances in general, more specifically i was asking if there would be creeps with resistance to fire (like iun diablo some enemies had immunities to elemental/magic attacks: Lightning, Ice, Fire, Poison and magic; which can get really annoying). Anyway EoP i guess. Thx, and ill refrain from using abbreviations in the future (EoP: End of post.. you should all know that)

Hey ... wot bout res?

gotchya. mobs will have resistances and some will even have immunities. there are some shadow resistant mobs that make things a little trickier for warlocks.

Hey ... wot bout res?

There are mobs in game that are resistant to a particular line of spell. Also I have had full resists from normal mobs also. For example I kill one wolf and all the spells hit, but the next wolf two out of 3 casts get resisted.

Don't know if that helps you much or not...

Hey ... wot bout res?

k thanks guys... now i know about resistances (and about abbreviations :P) so best not focus on warlock fire spells? what do y'all think? i suppose its kind of cool to have a direct offensive spell dicipline that improves systematically but it defies the point of a summoner. Warlock will have offensive spells besides fire (with shadow resistance to battle them) but they are more warlock related. Infact ill go make a poll on a new topic... :P

Hey ... wot bout res?

Focus on both Fire and Shadow magics. Variety is the key to anything. If you have variety - you're harder to figure out. If you just went with Fire spells then an opposing Mage or something would just go, "Aha! This fiend has gone for all fire!" *ups fire resistance buff* "Oh dear, bye bye Fire Warlock!"

Best try using a variation of all the spells. Especially DoT's(damage over times).

Btw i like your penguin avatar - penguins rule!
