Corruption Glow Missing - Bug or WAI?
I noticed a few patches back, prior to the Burning Crusade, that a purple glow effect was added to players that you dotted with Corruption, while in the battlegrounds. I also noticed that when questing, if a Warlock NPC mob dotted me with Corruption, that I too was glowing purple until the spell wore off, just like players would in the battlegrounds. However, when I dot anyone outside of the battlegrounds with Corruption (PVE and PVP, Players or NPC Mob) that player/mob doesn't glow purple. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, does anyone know if this is a bug, or working as intended? I thought it was pretty cool effect, so I'm hoping that the fact that it doesn't show up from my spell in PVE is a bug. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It's intended. I don't have a link offhand, but there was something about the lack of graphics on the official forums, I think. |

The glow comes from Shadow Embrace and was misapplied to all affliction effects in the wow version 2 patch. If you spec shadow embrace you will get your glow back :P |
