Time limit for pets
It's a basic question, but I haven't found the answer : is a pet summoned for some minutes or until he dies ? |

nope. they are there until dead or unsummoned. mage had elementals that had a 1 min lifespan. but right now no class has a temp pet/summon. actually, eye of kilrogg might have a time limit. not to sure about that one... |

Eye of Kilrogg is the spell where you posess a creep right? If so then i think a steady Mana depletion should commence whilst using the ability as controlling another lifeform must surely weaken you mentally.

and i don't believe that any of the summons require mana channelling. i'm 99% sure on this. |

I've never had a pet poof from time limit, however if you get too far ahead of they will. When running from spot to spot, say from a town area to the main city, if I know I won't be killing anything on the way I always release mine. Of course I have also been known to put them on stay command...and...er... forget then run off and wonder why they poofed ;)

I've left my pet on Stay a few times and run off. I set my radar all the way out, and if I see that little circle get too far away I stop. I hate having to resummon, re-Life Tap, and sit and eat.
