Afflock casting sequence
Hi all. Love the site as i have just found it and i just started playing the Warlock class last week. I have a 70 hunter and a 52 warrior on PVE servers but i put my new lock on a PVP server for the first time. I have been playing him for just over a week now and he's up to level 30. I have been reading a lot on here and am wondering what the best cast sequence is for leveling. I use my VW, send him in on a mob of 3, Curse of Agony, Corrupt, Sipon all 3 of them, then start wanding one at a time to finish them off. But i notice some talking about life drain more than wanding...is that a better way to go? And what if you end up with some aggro on you? My LD is less likely to be interrupted but can still sometims due to damage. What usually is the best sequence to use. Thx in advance for all your advice and feel free to add any other advice you might have for this Lock noob. |

Hard to say exactly without knowing your spec but at your level, you are almost prime for drain tanking. There is a great "how to" thread on that subject here at the den, so go ahead, read, apply, enjoy. |

Sounds silly? The idea is with the heals you get, you outheal the mob's damage and damage it at the same time. You get hit but you don't lose life overall. Instead of using a voidwalker to hold aggro, use a succubus for damage whilst you hold the aggro. Drain life is better DPS than wands. |
