missing level 1 spells
guys please help me, yes ill admit im a noob.. ive tried to do my fair share of research and found out that drain soul level 1 can be learned at level 10 for 3silver and enslave demon at level 30 for 60silver. however, warlock trainers wont offer to sell me this 2 spells and only offers level 2 onwards. did i miss a quest or requirement for me to have this 2 skills? i tried to check online and thats all i got from it. i know that summon pet skills are from quests but this spells should be available from warlock trainers, please correct me if im wrong and id really appreciate your help. thank you |

i am now level 52. i admit i didnt do all the quests or talk to all the npcs like normal people do, if i missed that please tell me. i just need to clarify what i did wrong and what i need to do to correct them thanks |

If the spells are the following Siphon Life Unstable Afflication Conflagerate Shadowfury Then rank 1 you acheive from talents ie Siphon life 26/31 point Afflication talent (cant remember which one) Unstable Afflication 41 point Afflication talent Conflagerate 31 point Destruction tree Shadowfury 41 point Destruction tree If you like any of these you need to spec to recieve them and by the sounds of it your full demo ie never bothered looking into the other talent trees. Good lvling choice imo

thank you for that. that repairs some parts. how about if the missing skills are "Drain Soul level1" and "enslave demon level1" and "shadowburn level1"? what should i do? do they require me to meet an NPC, do a quest or put points in my talents(my talents are still undistributed, is that the reason?) i see their respective level2 upgrades in warlock trainers but i dont see the level 1 for me to proceed.. thanks again Last edited by hoturi23; August 19, 2007 at 01:06 AM.. |

Ahh, wierd, is this a jk thread? Assuming no, Shadowburn level 1 is learned via talents, but DS level 1 and enslave demon level 1 are thougth by any warlock trainer, they can be found on Org, TB and some other areas, ask the NPC guards for direcctions. what pet for leveling, imp.. i know it sounds ridiculous, but believe me, would i really want to look that bad. is this technical stuff? so you would tell me to just re-install or is there some other way for me to learn these skills in-game. coz if it not through quests and its really just buyable and offered by warlock trainers then i might have to reinstall or look for admins who can help me. if thats the case |

Assuming its no jk, and that you dont have DS rank 1 on your spell book, and that you have tried loading WoW without any UI, and that the warlock trainer do not show that spell, contact a GM and dont let him go till its resolved, IMO reinstalling will do nothing for you. I would go to UC or Org, then queue the GM assistence and go to a BG till he contacts you, then get out of the BG and explain everything with the greatest detail possible. |

Did you do your pet quests? I remember that weird stuff might happen to all classes if you just grind your char to 70 without doing any class quests... I assume you don't have a Voidwalker/Succubus/Felhunter then, right? Actually, your knowledge of your class seems to be quite limited as you did not use any Soul Shard up to level 50... And many of our skills require soul shards. No Healthstone? No Soulstone? Spellstone/Firestone? Soulfire? Also, playing without any set talent point in level 52 does not only limit your character power but is really a excepetionally bad idea, given the fact you can change your talents for money unlimited times. So I also see the fake factor, even the guy with 200 spell penetration was far more obvious. On the other hand I know some people who did not even read the manual and never joined friends or a guild and have a devastating low knowledge of game mechanics and such. WoW is actually unplayable unless you spend a fair fraction of your time reading at least www.worldofwarcraft.com .
