Heavy Destruction build
Hiya out there Is there anyone out there, knowing a nice heavy destrucion build? I am atm 7/13/41, but not saticefied with my build

Hiya again I tryed that one, but wasnt happy, therefore I respec to the build I have now. Before The Burning Crusade I had almost all my talentpoints in destruction, I would like some a build like that again

I'm not truly a fan of destro builds but I can reccomend a 7/5/49 build (don't have a calc link but it's pretty obvious what you're speccing) if you like full destro. Also OK is 7/7/47, tough I didn't like that one that much. Problem with full destro is the damned mana inefficiency and gear dependency - but if you can live with that go for it. If you're raiding I can't realy help with full destro as I've not yet truly used it for raiding - only mixes and affliction. By the way good luck finding "your" build... I think I've been through more than 5k gold on respeccs so far and I'm still not really satisfied. Kazul |

I myself, am spec'd in total distruction... something like0/17/44. I just respec so that I could take advantage of the master summoner. However, back to the distruction. i have been spec'd in this since the beginning...and have had not too much trouble with it. As far as leveling, no problems. Heck... I pretty much grinded the whole way bymyself. I love this spec, you can still use your DOT's... they are arse kicking too.... and then when they are running... drain life/mana/soulshard, and then nail the final nail in the coffin and use conflag, or shadowfury..etc. Granted, I do use alot more mana then an affliction lock..or even a demon lock... but with life tap, drain life and by adding spirit to your armor*regens mana and health when your not casting*... I am very rarely below 50% mana....and if I am..* am an alchemist*....so its slam a super mana and off I go creating mass distruction and widows I go. AS for raiding, done a bit... depends on whom your with...but once again, havent had a problem using this spec. yeh if your going dest just hit up as much +int gear as you can. So rather than be 11k health and 8.5k mana you would aim to be the other way round. You haven't said what you don't like about any of the builds or what you are looking for so it makes it hard to comment on what is best for you. My fav is maxing out on fire damage and spaming away immo , incin,incin and conflag. Shadowflame is also good for fights round key pvp points if you can say out of harms way (big IF). The burst DPS is MAD!!! but living long enough in pvp is an issue...PVE i think this is great fun and i love it. You could always try 21/0/40. So you get SL and you instantly have better mana eff because your health is returning to tap more often. |

Something like this is what I prefer: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IVMbZ0xZxx0trhtAuVo Customize to your preferences (i.e. drop imp searing pain if you do not PvP). The best tip I can give you is to be sure to take 2/2 imp drain soul - it helps destro grinding efficiency immensely. If you want a hardcore raiding destro spec, you should go 0/21/40. |
