For those who have played war 3 there was a skill archimonde had called "reign of chaos" it dropped a few infernals from the sky now this might be over powered at the current level of the game but maybe a 71 point talent or something though I would quite enjoy meta itself has baseline and this being the demo talent, think a very short starfall as it is now that spawns 3 infernals that don't get rid of your normal pet. The infernals could be tuned for damage and what not getting their power from the warlocks stats so they do scale but as long as they are the same size as our summon infernal i suppose they don't have to be as powerful. |

Personally, I don't like Meta and exotic demons doesn't add anything interesting. Actually over half of the demon tree sucks anyways.. |

There is some fun to be had, and a couple of situations where Metamorphosis would be useful. I don't find it useful enough to get that far down the talent tree.. I'd rather put those points elsewhere.. I wish there were a cool way to make Meta more useful on a day to day basis.. The idea of making it a tank is interesting.. I think a lot more people would use it if it were a permanent morph. 30 seconds is really enough time to scare someone, and cause some laughs.. but not enough time to do much useful, unless your just killing mobs while questing.. no good for PvP, or Raids. Someone had mentioned the idea of being able to morph into lots of different demons.. I think this would be fun, but probably the same challenges of the current Meta.. On the small legion idea.. maybe it would be cool to be able to enslave more than one demon.. or maybe summon more than one doomguard at a time.. of course with multiple combat pets, they would have to scale down in power, as you summoned more... the more demons under your control, the less powerful each one is. |
