Here's what I think the big difference between raiding demo or affliction locks and raiding dests lock is. Demo and affliction are idealists, they want a world where they are free to choose whatever playstyle they enjoy and they are willing to ignore or deny facts that show otherwise. Dest locks are realists, they realize that the world is not as they would wish it and that in a raid environment there is one "best" way and they are willing to do what's best for the raid despite what their personal preference may be. In Wrath of the Lich King aff and demo locks will still be aff and demo locks, but dest locks will be whatever spec turns out to be the "best" whether thats aff or demo or dest. |

You know I always wonder again, why so much hate against demo locs, speically by destro locks? Are the destro locks afraid, worried? If so its ok, its ok there will in all likelhood still be more ardent destro supporters than demo supporters. Anyway apprantly in Wrath of the Lich King one no longer has to be 1 button sbolt spam, affliction i hear is pretty sick and my guess demo will be like shadow priest. -You bring 1-2, maybe 3 no more. So dont worry destro fanactics your place will still be there, and if not change is good Rember -Change is a good thing. |

Yes, it's a Destro Talent, but no good Demonolgist gives up 5/5 ISB if for nothing more than to get 5/5 Bane. The SB is THE damaging part of the Demo spec; believe me, I've tried doing w/o it, it just hurts DPS too much in a Raid.
