drain life not as powerful??
Has anyone noticed themselves not draining as much life since 3.0.2? I was specced with the improved before and after, I expected a decrease since I didn't have shadow embrace in the new build. I used to pull over 500 per tick, now it's under 400 per tick. I know they changed soul siphon some, but it seems like a huge nerf. Spellpower has not changed and I have the same number of points in shadow mastery. Anyone else notice this? |

Yes - I don't have hard numbers, but it seems like Drain Life is a bit weaker. Maybe that's in exchange for Haunt... |

I didnt think about it until you mentioned it but I do believe you're correct. Im noticing that Im hitting about 340-350 now where I was doing 360-370 before.. That being said as someone specced pure Affliction, I definitely prefer the new to the old due to Haunt (as the poster above pointed out). Haunt combined with SL probably gives back as much as old SL, however getting the burst damage of Haunt's inital contact with the enemy (which can also crit!) combined with the (ridiculously high) damage it churns out makes that combo more effective to me than just SL. |
